“I’m developing my idea for television”
What started as a journalist visa resulted in college and a new career. There was a time when Emilia Lindgren, 34, was running around Los Angeles going to auditions. She was cast as the lead in a movie only to be replaced by a more famous actress only two weeks before shooting. “That’s how it is in Hollywood – you are tossed around like a glove. You have to have a certain personality to put up with it and I don’t really” says Emilia. Today she operates a children’s party planning company. She dresses up as several different princesses from fairytales and puts on shows for children. “I got my first customers through personal connections and then through positive word of mouth it became my full time profession”. Her goal is to take the entertainment a step further. “I have developed a TV-show for children” she said. Cindy Crawford and Reese Witherspoon are only a few of the celebrities Emilia has performed for. “One of the wildest jobs I’ve done was when I entertained the kids of Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee backstage at a Motley Crue concert. And when I was at Steven Spielberg’s house he filmed my whole performance up close with his personal camera. So you could say (jokingly) I’ve been in a Spielberg movie”.
Emilia has career advice for young Swedes wanting to come to Los Angeles.
– Head out to Los Angeles with courage, intelligence and a drive of steel!
– Hollywood has a dark side and there are lots of drugs. Find the spiritual side of LA instead.
– Apply to the Green Card lottery. You cannot work without a green card in America.
The party planner consultation fee of $800 is fully usable towards your party total as long as the final cost of the party is $7000 or greater. The party planner consultation fee is non-refundable 48 hours prior to the scheduled consultation and onwards.
If you would like to re-schedule or cancel the party planning consultation, please do so with at least 48 hours prior notice in order to receive a future credit for the same amount.
If the party planner arrive at the agreed upon location at the agreed upon time and client is not present, there will be an additional charge of $200 to re-schedule the consultation.

PAYMENT POLICY
A deposit of 50% of total cost of services is due upon order. No entertainer or service can be held or guaranteed for a party date until deposit has been received. Deposits can be paid via Credit card only. We do not accept checks. All credit card payments are subject to a 3% service fee. All final balances will be charged to the same credit card used for the deposit on the Friday preceding the scheduled event or service. Services booked with less than 24 hours notice require a $150 expedite fee charged up front. The expedite fee is non-refundable but will be deducted from the total of the service once the service is booked. In addition, all services booked with less than 24 hours notice are subject to a 10% rush fee.
Payments for styling, decor, party favors and desserts are due in full upon booking. Payments for styling, decor, party favors and desserts booked with less than 10 days notice are subject to a 20% rush fee.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Deposits are non-refundable. Cancellations made within 24 hours require payment in full.
All payments for styling, decor, party favors and desserts are 100 % non-refundable.
